Annual Africa Fest

The African Studies Center, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (ASC) will hold its third Africa Fest on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from noon to 2 p.m. in collaboration with Weaver Street Market (WSM) and the Town of Carrboro.

AfricaAfrica Fest is a celebration of African culture, art, and history. This family event offers our Carolina community an annual immersive opportunity to engage with the rich contemporary cultures of the continent.

This annual event focuses on sharing culture, fostering unity, and celebrating the beauty of diversity. We hope that it will empower our community to celebrate and learn, while gaining an enduring appreciation for diversity and inclusivity.
